Aamir Latif Siddiqui

Aamir Latif Siddiqui, born in the village Patt Sharif, District Dadu, Sindh, is a seasoned expert in Pakistan’s education sector with a career spanning more than 20 years. His portfolio includes senior positions on flagship USAID-funded projects such as Education Sector Reform Assistance (ESRA), Ed-Links, Teacher Education, and the Pakistan Reading Projects, but he has initiated his career from the grassroots and worked with the Sindh Goth Sudhar Sangat in collaboration with KZR Associates on ADB assisted Girl’s Primary Education Development Project. His career progressed through leadership roles with premier international organizations, including Research Triangle Institute (RTI) International, American Institutes for Research (AIR), Education Development Center (EDC), WaterAid, Creative Associates International, and the World Bank. He also worked as Director Social Registry in the Social Protection Strategy Unit, Chief Minister’s Secretariat, Government of Sindh. Presently, he is working with Maxwell Stamp Ltd. on the ADB-assisted Sindh Secondary Improvement Project as Deputy Team Leader. He acquired an MS in Social Science from SZABIST, Karachi, and an MA in Sociology from the University of Sindh, Jamshoro. He is also recognized as a respected voice in the field; his insights on education and socio-political issues are also featured in Daily Dawn, Daily Kawish, and Daily Punhji Akhbar.
