Barrister Shahid Soomro

Barrister Shahid Hussain Soomro is an experienced legal professional with over 14 years of practice. He is currently based in the United Kingdom, working as a Legal Consultant and Registered Foreign Lawyer with a reputable London-based law firm, specialising in immigration law. He holds BA, LLB, and two MA degrees from Pakistan, along with an LLM from the University of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom. He was called to the Bar by the Hon’ble Society of Lincoln’s Inn, London. He was enrolled as a lawyer in 2013, and in 2016 he was inducted in Sindh judiciary as a Civil Judge & Judicial Magistrate, serving for about one and a half years. After resigning, he founded a law firm, Shahid Soomro & Partners Law Associates. Throughout his career, he has handled numerous cases across different courts, with several of his cases published in law journals. His interest in legal development and human rights has also taken him to Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia, where he has participated in various legal and academic conferences.
